旧金山冷知识：渔人码头

这里为什么这么热闹？它是干什么的？

简单讲这里就是个商业氛围很浓厚的码头区，有很多吃喝玩乐的地方，类似一些大城市的购物步行街，然后能吃到很多质量不错的海鲜，比如新鲜捕捞的龙虾。

渔人码头的海鲜餐饮业在旧金山诞生初期就兴起了，当时主要是做淘金客的生意。一开始来这里做生意的多是意大利人，现在这里依旧有大量意大利裔的美国人，你也能在这看到很多意大利的饮食元素。

Fisherman’s Wharf is a neighborhood and popular tourist attraction in San Francisco, California. It roughly encompasses the northern waterfront area of San Francisco. San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf gets its name and neighborhood characteristics from the city’s early days of the mid to later 1800s when Italian immigrant fishermen came to the city by the bay to take advantage of the influx of population due to the gold rush. Most of the Italian immigrant fishermen settled in the North Beach area close to the wharf and fished for the local delicacies and the now famed Dungeness crab.渔人码头是加州旧金山的一个城区，也是备受欢迎的一处旅游景点。它差不多囊括了旧金山北部的海滨地区。旧金山的渔人码头得名于19世纪中后期，在初期，当时从意大利迁入的渔民沿着海湾来到旧金山，靠淘金热吸引而来的人口（谋生）。多数从意大利迁入的渔民在码头附近的北海滩地区定居下来，捞捕当地的美食和如今著名的珍宝蟹。

在渔人码头的西侧，还有国家海事历史公园 Maritime National Historical Park
