怎样用英语委婉说“我们还是做朋友吧”并且不被打？

I mean, poor choice of words, but…

我知道用这词有点歧义 但是

are you crazy?!

你丫疯啦 

想要委婉的拒绝别人，可以说I hope we can still be friends，也就是“我们还是做朋友比较好”。

或者说I don’t think we should be in a romantic relationship anymore. 我觉得我们还是不要继续恋爱关系了。

其他重点：

…的状态 the status of /ˈsteɪtəs/

就我个人认为 as far as I’m concerned /kənˈsɜːnd/

恢复，捡起 pick up /pɪk/

意义重大 That means a lot.
