英语四六级翻译常用表达学习

　　备战英语四六级考试，我们可能会把精力用到复习阅读方面，练习写作方面，也可能注重听力方面，但是翻译部分往往就被忽略了。其实考试的每一部分都是很重要的，我们不可能不去关注它们。今天就和大家说说四六级翻译的常用表达!

　　1. 被视为 be regarded/considered/seen as

　　例句：在中外游客眼中，这个古镇被视为爱情和浪漫的天堂。

　　The old town is seen by Chinese and foreign tourists as the paradise of love and romance.

　　2. 由……制成 be made from/be made of

　　例句：据说他的风筝用木头和竹子制作。

　　It is said that his kite is made of wood and bamboo.

　　3. 反而、相反 on the contrary/in contrast

　　例句：他们反而被更为偏远的地方所吸引。

　　On the contrary, they are more attracted by remote places.

　　4. 据报道 It is reported/according to the report/as the report goes

　　例句：据报道，今年中国快递服务(courier service)将递送大约120亿件包裹。

　　It is reported that China’s courier service will deliver about 12 billion parcels this year.

　　5. 大量的 a large number of (+可数名词)/a good deal of/a large amount of (+不可数名词)

　　例句：中国正在吸引大量外国投资。

　　China is attracting a large amount of foreign investment.

　　6. 世界各地 across/around/all over the world

　　例句：它为世界各地的年轻人提供了更好地了解中国的机会。

　　It provides young people all over the world with an opportunity to know more about China.

　　7. 改革开放 reform and opening up

　　例句：随着中国的改革开放，如今很多年轻人都喜欢举行西式婚礼。

　　As China’s reform and opening up policy proceeds, many young people nowadays like to arrange their weddings in a western way.

　　8. 越来越多的 more and more/an increasing number of/an growing number of

　　例句：越来越多的中国人现在的确离不开手机了。

　　An increasing number of Chinese people indeed can’t live without mobile phones now.

　　9. 用作 be used as/serve as

　　例句：白花一定不要用作祝人康复的礼物。

　　White flower mustn’t be used as a gift for patients.

　　10. 在……中起作用，扮演……角色 play a role in

　　例句：长江在中国历史、文化和经济上起着很大的作用。

　　The Yangtze River plays an important role in China’s history, culture and economy.

　　11. 归因于 attribute to

　　例句：年轻游客数量的不断增加，可以归因于他们迅速提高的收入和探索外部世界的好奇心。

　　The increasing number of young travelers can be attributed to the rapid growth of their income and their curiosity to explore the outside world.

　　12. 传说、据传说 according to the legend

　　例句：传说中国古代哲学家墨子用了三年时间在潍坊制作了世界上首个风筝。

　　According to the legend, Mo-tse, a philosopher in ancient China, spent three years in making the world’s first kite in Weifang.

　　13. 有……历史 have a history of

　　例句：潍坊以“风筝之都”而闻名，已有将近2400年放飞风筝的历史。

　　Weifang is famous as “the City of Kites”, as the city has a history of nearly 2,400 years of flying kites.

　　14. 对……有兴趣 be/get interested in sth.

　　例句：越来越多的中国年轻人正对旅游产生兴趣。

　　More and more Chinese young people are getting interested in traveling.

　　15. 坐落 be located/be situated(+prep.)

　　例句：长江上还坐落着世界最大的水电站。

　　The biggest hydropower station is located on the Yangtze River as well.
