Denmark is world’s biggest consumer of meat per capita. Let’s begin with the Danish national dish, shall we. Fried pork with parsley sauce, a.k.a. Stegt flæsk med persillesovs in Danish, is a very rustic dish that consists of crispy fried pork served with boiled potatoes, parsley sauce and pickled beetroot.
